The Surge Safety Resistor (SSR series) features a power rating from 0.25W to 5W, with resistance ranging from 10 ohm to 330K ohm. Designed to replace carbon or ceramic composition resistors, the SSR series is a good choice for anti-surge applications such as fuel ignition systems, power charging/discharging circuits, and ECG cables to absorb harmful surge energy, thereby preventing the hazard of fire and circuit damage caused by surge energy with a flameproof coating. Products comply with RoHS requirements and do not contain substances of very high concern identified by the European Chemicals Agency.
